We at Demon Slayer have worked against the forces of evil for many, many years.  During that time we have seen most of the “usual” forms of protection fail.  We recall vividly, for example, the woman who called us and said “I put a bible on the floor in front of me to keep the demon away but it walked right over it!”  We also recall the many times that crucifixes have been turned upside-down by demons, that holy water has failed to last long enough, and that so many other forms of protection have been found lacking in the moment of truth.
